AltaMonte Management Advisors, LLC (AMA) is a company founded by Logan Sexton in 2017. It is national in scope, and headquartered in Franklin, Massachusetts.

AMA provides executive leadership and coaching, turn-around management services, due diligence assessments for acquisitions and divestitures and facility-specific disaster planning and recovery management.

Logan Sexton

Managing Principal

As a highly seasoned and experienced post-acute care organization executive, Mr. Sexton has developed a very effective approach to helping struggling companies reshape leadership, restructure underperforming organizational systems, re-engineer the framework of team dynamics, design process integrity to build operative efficiencies, provide strategic guidance and advisory services, establish risk management systems to protect the enterprise, and improve profitability and targeted performance.

Logan’s career has allowed him to enjoy the challenge of leading large companies and the rare opportunity of helping small companies achieve high levels of performance. His bandwidth and experience include providing leadership and executive management in 38 states. He has served as President of SunBridge Healthcare, Inc., a large publicly held post-acute, skilled nursing and assisted living company with 200 facilities operating in 25 states. The company was headquartered in Irvine, California, and generated over $1.7 billion in revenues. Additionally, he served as Chief Operating Officer for Preferred Care Partners Management Group, LLC, a privately held company operating in Plano, Texas which encompassed a portfolio of 112 post-acute, skilled nursing, and assisted living assets in twelve states, with a high concentration in difficult states, including Texas, Kentucky, and New Mexico, to name a few.

Melinda Kaye Sexton is a highly skilled clinical professional and management operations executive.

Melinda, who holds a deep respect and love for our most vulnerable adults, is a Registered Nurse. She has served to positively impact the health and well being of our industry’s residents. Her exceptional performance and commitment led her to be promoted into the role of Regional Vice President of Operations then to Vice President of Operations.

Melinda has served as a member of the Nurse Council Coalition of Mississippi Healthcare Association and is a member of AANAC. She is a Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer. She has been a Registered Nurse for 26 years and a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator for 20 years.

Cal Calaway joined the Altamonte team in August of 2020 as a facility assistant business office manager, later becoming the business office manager. One year later, he was assigned to the position of manager of operational logistics, supporting Altamonte Management and Advisory Group with recruitment, PBJ, events and more.

Cal previously worked in the banking industry for five years as a teller and branch manager. He oversaw day-to-day operations, audits, recruitment, cash handling, currency orders, development planning, sales goals, customer care and revenue growth.

Cal lives in Paris, KY and is currently enrolled in University of Maryland for Computer Science.

Juan Busby

Operations Security Consultant

Juan Busby is a Marine Corps veteran, with 28 years of experience in the California Department of Corrections. Juan also has four years of experience as a director of risk management, and three years of experience as an operations manager in private security. Juan is the managing principal of his company: Code 2, LLC, and he specializes in compliance audits, investigations, and emergency preparedness, response and recovery.


Director of Clinical Operations

Ann Cook is a certified resident assessment coordinator (RAC-CT) and certified case management specialist (RAC-CTA) with over 40 years of experience in long-term care. She has held positions as a unit manager, staff development coordinator, and director of nursing. She is also a skilled documentation reviewer and has experience with ADR/RAC audit response, MDS accuracy, and PDPM transition.
